Privacy Policy

Effective: [Month DD, 20YY] · Last updated: [Month DD, 20YY]

Template notice (remove before publishing): This Privacy Policy is a warm starting template, not legal advice. Please confirm it reflects what you actually collect (bookings, session details, payments) and have it reviewed by qualified counsel. Coaching is not therapy; if you ever provide licensed clinical services, additional rules (such as HIPAA) may apply. As a California business, the CCPA/CPRA and other laws may apply. Replace every bracketed placeholder.

Your trust matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Embodied Alignment, LLC (“Embodied Alignment,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit embodiedalignmentwork.com (the “Site”), book a consult, or work with us.

01 Information we collect

Information you share with us

  • Contact & booking details — your name, email, phone, and what you tell us when you reach out or book a consult.
  • Session information — notes and details you choose to share during coaching, so we can support you well.
  • Communications — messages you send us and your contact preferences.

Collected automatically

  • Usage & device data — IP address, browser and device type, and pages viewed on the Site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see the Cookies section below.

Please share only what you're comfortable sharing, and only what's needed for us to work together.

02 How we use information

  • Respond to your enquiries and schedule consults and sessions.
  • Provide coaching and support you between sessions.
  • Communicate with you about your sessions, and — where you opt in — share occasional updates.
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site, keep records, and comply with law.

03 Coaching confidentiality

We treat what you share in coaching as private and handle it with care. We don't share the content of your sessions except with your permission, or where we're required to by law or to protect someone's safety. Please remember that coaching is not therapy or a licensed clinical service, so the legal protections that apply to medical or mental-health records do not apply here.

04 Payments

If you pay for sessions, payments are handled by trusted third-party payment providers. They process your card details directly under their own privacy policies and security standards; we do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.

05 Cookies & analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working and understand general traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where required by law we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).

06 How we share information

We treat your information with discretion and never sell it. We share it only as needed to provide our services:

  • Service providers — trusted tools that help us operate, such as scheduling, email, video sessions, hosting, and payment processing.
  • Professional advisors — such as legal and accounting advisors, where appropriate.
  • Legal & safety — when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of you or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a reorganization or sale of the business, subject to this policy.

07 Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to work with you and support you, meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping needs, and resolve any questions, after which we delete or de-identify it.

08 Data security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure connections (HTTPS) and limiting who can access your details. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09 Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of marketing. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We'll verify your request and respond as required by applicable law, and we won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.

10 California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to know, access, correct, and delete your personal information, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of it (including via recognized opt-out preference signals such as GPC), without discrimination for exercising your rights.

To submit a request, email [privacy@embodiedalignmentwork.com].

11 Children's privacy

Our Site and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site.

12 Changes & contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, please reach out:
